• About Texas
Utility Deregulation
In the past there was only one Utility Company and
the Company determined what price consumers should
pay. In June 2001, the electric power industry in
Texas underwent a significant restructuring. In
order to break up the monopoly, Lawmakers pass
laws to allow Retail Electrical Providers (REP) to
provide utilities and allow consumers to choose
their retail electrical providers. What does this
mean for consumers? It means you have the right to
choose your electrical provider and at the same time
receive a substantial savings
on your utility bill. Choosing your electrical
provider is like choosing your own telephone or cell
phone provider. You have a choice to choose from
At&T®, T-Mobile®, Verizon®, Sprint®,
Crickett®, etc. Now you have the same choice with
Electricity.
• How does it work?
The State of Texas established the Electrical
Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT). They not only
became the power and transmission service
clearinghouse but also the master dispatch authority
for every kilowatt-hour produced and sold within the
ERCOT territory. As the independent operator of the
State Power Grid they allowed energy delivery
companies and Retail Electrical Providers (REP) to
link to the Grid and thus promote competition. With
new sources to choose from, you now have options.
You have the power to switch from your current
utility provider and save money.

Will I have any problems if I switch?
Your electrical power will still come the exact
same way, over the exact same power lines as below.
Your lights will not flicker or you will never have
a power outage unless a storm hits the lines or a
transformer blows out. If any problem arises, you
will use the same electrical service company (CenterPoint)
you
used before.

• What is the Catch? Does
your provider charge a fee to switch from my current
electrical provider to yours?
There are no catch and our providers do not
charge you to switch. You can save money right
away and you can protect the price you pay for
electricity by fixing your rate. You can lock in the
rate for up to 48 months on Commercial and 36 months
on Residential. If you experience the yo-yo effects of your bill
being high several months and then low, the rate
lock plan is for you. If you require flexible payment options, we
can do that. If this is your first time obtaining
electricity that is ok. Our providers may or may not
ask you to put up a deposit. It will be dependent on
your credit. You will have a simple and easy to
understand bill, no hidden charges or penalties and
better yet exceptional customer service. Any
questions that you may have, you will be able to
speak with a live person regarding your service or
bill.
• Who are you?
We are a utility broker. Our job is to help you
obtain the best possible utility rate just like a
Real Estate broker helping you obtain the best
possible price on a property or a mortgage broker
helping you obtain the best interest rate. We
monitor utility rates on a daily basis and offer you
the lowest rates possible.
